I think the SS models had 220 hp, so with a few tweaks I would think 240 or so 
could be achieved with no major work. Getting rid of the 70's-80's emissions 
systems and euro bumpers would shave more than  few pounds as well. The car 
itself is a well built solid car, so shaving a few pounds with seats and the 
like would likely not make a difference. If you could build the V-6 with 300 
hp, then you would be someplace, or just get a Bora...
