Yeah it does

To this day I recall Classic BMW's valet service stealing every coin out of my M3's change holder (right after I jammed it full on the way there). I had a word with the manager and they wanted to give me a gift certificate for the trouble, I declined and asked that they find the culprit and try and make it not happen to anyone else. Not sure what came of that, but do complain.

This is WAY off topic but it still eats me to this day...

I used valet parking during the winter holidays at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg , IL. A
few hours after picking up my car, I discovered they took $4 in quarters (parking meters
in Chicago). What ticks me off is I tip before AND after (I consider myself a better
than average tipper - family and friends in the service industries). Everyone
"accepts" at the valet and carwash that you lose a quarter here and there but I
thought this was ridiculous. I filed complaints but no one listens. If you add it up,
100 cars a day at $.50 a piece, that's $50! You get hanged for shoplifting a $5 shirt at
the mall but they don't care for spare change spread out over a bunch of customers. I
think accepting petty theft sucks. I wish they would do something about this. If you
have to resort to stealing a quarter at your job, you should have paid more attention in
school. Obviously this is not about the money for me but morals. Ya gotta love some
countries with harsh punishments for petty crimes. At least the credit card companies
put it in writing that they are going to screw you.

Sigh.

Agreed 100%. Someone keyed my little Dinan3 a month ago at the Hard Rock in valet parking so that post you made really hit home. Not even in an F car or anything crazy. Just a little Bimmer. The scumbags in this world. _________________________________________________________________
