Not true the GT4 is a perfect car, if an idiot like me can take it apart and put it back together. I was looking at an F40 the other day and imagined doing a minor service and burst a blood vessel just thinking about it! To me service is all about access so a 512 BB or a TR where you drop out the whole engine tran and suspension seem cool to me, but I dont have room for a lift so the GT4 is a perfect car for me!

I love all those cars but Clyde makes perfect sense to me. Loving a car, wanting a car, and working on a car are quite different things....

I just know cars and engines and what works and doesn't work
There is no perfect car not mine
Not yours
I have been around engines since 1965 and I would like to believe that I have the backround to call it as it is

The 288 was a limited production car that was homlogated for racing
And that's it
It is what it is

You love focusing on the negative for all cars (that aren't yours)...

I think you should summarize the 512 TR for us and see if you're a man of
your word or just an instigator.
