Yes, Peter is right. It's Clive James - Aussie raconteur. Has always had
that kind of quirky view of an outsider who has been let into the inner
sanctum but keeps detached and still looks in as an outsider, if you get my
drift. That is, he is privy to a lot of insider stuff, yet can still views
things in a more detached and usually ironic way. Written a lot of books and
made various docos.
