Tony George was playing the parts of Bernie and Max then but he had Indy the 
crown jewel of oval racing.

Apparently Bernie and Max don't have Monaco the closest track to a crown 
jewel in F1.

Their dumbing down F1 making it to IRL is losing  it's appeal.
