Easy drive on the A1.   Make certain your dealer sets up the factory tour.  
Stay in downtown Modena.  

Depending on your interests...return Florence/Livorno/Genoa/Milan by A12
or parallel beach road in no less than 5 leisurely days.  
Last trip we stopped in Bonassola but virtually any small town is good.

Personally I'd rather rent (base the trip) in Paris or Rome.
