Lunch at Ristorante Cavallino across street from factory is a must 
part of the experience (Enzo lunched there) but get reservations NOW.

Allow 2 hours at the toy shops in Maranello - they have stuff not available 
here.
See the Ferrari track and do an hour of the back roads.

End the day in Modena staying downtown near the square as there are often local 
fetas (events)
I still recommend returning to Milano on the coast route.
