We definitely weren't trying to break any records, but my wife and I have done a couple cross country drives recently with a long first stint. Two years ago we did a 31 hour stint from Fredericksburg, VA to Moab, UT, and last summer we did about 33 hours from Fredericksburg, VA to Sydney, Montana. That included stops for food and fuel. And we had three kids in the car! Car of choice: 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan (with DVD in the back for the kids!). :-) I love the long drives, you get to see so many different geographic, geologic, climates, etc all in one drive. Not necessarily recommending it as a "must see" on this trip, but someday you should drive across the desert in Utah and Nevada. We went from Moab west through Delta, Utah to Baker, NV (Great Basin Natl Park) to Tonopah, NV, and eventually on to Yosemite. Cool stuff, want to do it again. -matt '85 euro 308 On Tue, Jul 14, 2009 at 11:18 AM, philville dejazzd.com<philville [at] dejazzd.com> wrote: > > I have not documented any "Cannonball" times, but I kinda thought that > 36 /37 hrs was about as good as it gets, dooes any one know what the > fastest documented time was and who did it?
