Oh absolutely it would spank the Acr... Just swap it's street tires for some Pilot sport cups (like the vipers)...

See now,

I can agree with that statement, my 348 was a manual steering car and
its feel through a corner was second to none. I drove some 355's back in the day and that was my biggest complaint about that car, the softer
steering. Still the 308 GT4's don't really shout Ferrari to me.

Part of the Ferrari mystique to me is very little known trivia. One piece of that trivia is that Ferrari offered a power steering delete on the F355. Was it euro only or an international option? I'm not sure, but it seems when I
asked Ralph from Fchat about this he implied that it wasn't an easy
conversion to do.

I seriously feel like writing a letter to FNA about this....lol.

Some say the manual rack is slower than the PS rack....I'd hope that would not be the case. Could a company like prodrive custom make a manual rack?
This is important to me.

:)

As for the Merak and Urraco.. Yuck not my cup of tea. The Jalpa was OK, but it still looked like a copy of a BMW M1. Seeing a Gallardo, LP640,

Take a look at the Lamborghini Silhouette.....a smoother looking version of
the Jalpa. Extremely rare.

599 GTB and F430 next to each other, Ferrari really has lost the styling
battle, though the Italia looks very pretty so maybe a comeback?
Performance wise they may be better, but only marginally so. For a
Front Engine supercar, no question the Maserati GT and AM
Vantage/Vanquish are the prettiest (obtainable) cars on the road today.

+1

If I wanted something front engine, truly fast and track worthy, the ZR1
Vette is the only game in town, it would spank all comers on a road
course.

Will it spank the Viper ACR as well?

As much as I like Vipers it's hard to see them being as finesse as
Corvettes, although I hear they do a very good job on the track.

The very first Ferrari I ever saw in person was in 3rd grade, one of the
girls in my class got dropped off in her Dad's red Dino. A real Dino
(246), not the pretender to the name... Truly a pretty car.

Yes, a yellow/black GTS with 16" QV rims.....mmmm.
