Hi List, I've been wanting to ask some of our British listers about the show, "Top Gear". It's become one of my favorites since I first learned about it a year or two back. Generally speaking, what are the qualifications of the guys who host the show? They seem to be pretty good drivers (with the possible exception of James May, who I still maintain is the *actual* "Stig"! yeah, yeah, I know, I'm just being facetious - but it would be funny!), and certainly seem to be very knowledgeable about cars in general. Are they (former) racers? Automotive writers? And does Richard Hammond do other TV work (I seem to recall some statements to that effect on one of the episodes)? Have any of them posted times around the test track in the "reasonably priced car"? I can't help but wonder how they would do. And for the ham radio guys in the group - did anyone decipher the morse code The Stig was listening to as he was testing the Tesla? Thanks - any other Top Gear trivia to be shared? Would love to hear it!
