There are essentially THREE types of O2 sensors. 1) Nernst Cells 2) TiOsub2 resistive jump sensors 3) Wideband O2 sensors - which are effectively 2 Nernst Cells back to back. Almost all O2 sensors from Bosch thru early 2000's are Nernst cell sensors so I'm going to go into them further. There are two types and three variants of Nernst cell. a) Unheated - one wire b) Heated - three wire c) Heated - four wire I'm going to take a SWAG and say that the 512 sensor is a 4-wire sensor. Now, here is what you need to know. Aside from physical differences in thread/case/wire length/plug type.... ALL sensors of the same variant ARE THE SAME. A *LONG* time ago, I went thru Bosch literature and released PDF's to people ON THIS LIST - containing the "generic" Bosch part number equivalents for all sorts of parts from the 308 era onward. I no longer have them. HOWEVER - if you search at boschautoparts.com you can find that they have THREE different part #'s listed 13120, 13301, 15727 listed as being compatible 13120 shows prices between $70 and $160 on Google 13301 shows $105 15727 - which has no plug and would require splicing - is $50. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/clyderomero%40worldnet.att.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/
