Hey Brian -You obviously don't know me. Damn right I'd drive it - within limits of course. But I'd drive it cause I love to drive - always have. Balancing driving time with increased maintenance cost is another matter though -
Of course, if I have a $800k car I hope I'd have the pockets to put gas in it? While we're wishing - may as well wish for it all. ;-)

And if you owned an $800,000 car you can honestly say you'd drive it "places?". Like the grocery? Home Depot?Brian E. I have one myself that I picked up in Shenzhen. Admittedly tougher to bring these into Europe (I am told the fines are quite large). But itwouldn't cost you a 308 either :) But I have to say anyone who wants to trade their sports car in for a watch (even if it were a Miata), is just not a car enthusiast. SorryErik. I never will understand the "more money than sense watches" any more than I get the whole Vertu business model. I see the appeal of aFerrari, all of the ones I have driven have unique sounds and driving persona that makes you want to push it a bit harder everytime you getbehind the wheel, and no question they look amazing just sitting still, but to exchange that experience for a piece of jewelry?
