I thought that sounded like a possible "future testimonial", Jim. :) As
far as the "pig headed assholes" they'll get their reward by not bringing
home the kind of paychecks that they need to survive. Too bad for them, but
it's always better to take an offer and move a unit than it is to think that
the next guy to come in will somehow pay exactly what they're asking.
Reminds me of the lemonade stand story. Two kids have lemonade stands on
the same street, about 2/3 of a block from each other, on opposite sides of
the street. One kid is selling glasses of ice cold lemonade for $1.50 per
glass and has pretty fair action. The other kid is selling his ice cold
lemonade for $20 per glass and hasn't sold any. A customer of the "cheap"
stand walks on down the block, sees the other kid's stand, crosses the
street, and says to the kid, "Your lemonade is $20 per glass? Why so much?
The other kid down the street where I bought mine is selling his for only
$1.50."
In response, the kid says, "Yeah, but I only need to sell one glass."
