I think some dealership owners put some of their cars out there with a ridiculous price because they want to keep that particular car (for whatever reason), and it would take a lot to get them to part with it... Talked to the owner at Lake Forest Sports cars last year and he had a few in his collection like that (a 206 Dino race car, and Alain Prosts' F1 car to name a few).

Wow!  That's one heck of a premium for a questionable "collectors item"!!

Even 7 years ago a 928 could be bought for ~$15k for a pristine model.
I wonder how tenaciously they fought for that $63k price?  Not very I think.
