Wow

Ferrari kinda sucks in this regard, but I can see their point if you are making money off their brand in some way.

Now in Dallas I bought my first (and so far only) Porsche at "The Porsche Store", which I thought was about the coolest name for a toy store that you could have, and one of the few times I left the dealer plate surrounds on one of my cars.

They later changed their name to Boardwalk Porsche (to form a monopoly with the Park Place dealership south of them?)  Dunno, seemed a bad move, but with a grocery getter in their lineup like the Cayenne it makes sense to no longer have a toy store name...

Sorry to hear this!     What about all the car pictures out there that show a horsey or script?

Again, my nonlegal opinion would be if it's an emblem on the vehicle or a banner behind it in the picture, I don't think they would brother anyone about that. If you use any auto manufacturer's name or trade mark in any situation that makes it look like your business is connected with them without their permission that will get their attention. I am also connected with Corvette clubs and they can't use any Chevrolet Corvette symbol in their club logo or literature without Chevrolet's permission. I know it happens, but unless the club comes to their attention Chevrolet probably won't do anything. Like I said, the bad thing is, if they do file suit then it's definitely attorney time. This not legal advice, I am not an attorney. (CMA statement) Randy
