321 hp. High revving,  vanos required a witchdoctor to tune.   Drove a students Euro spec e36 once.   Not as huge a gap on the US spec as I thought there would be.   The e30 evo or evo 2 is the one you want...

I've worked on BMW SMG - and the Ferrari unit is essentially identical.

SMG = Euro E36 M3 = F355 F1

The euro e36 m3 ('95-99) had the option of SMG???

It also had the 343 hp motor, similar to the E46...

Some car, know anything more about it/driven it?
