TR won't start

Matt Boyd raises a very good point, which also triggers a long-lost memory from the race team days.  Some of the 348s had the same problem - and the solution was the same as what Matt described.  For some reason, the starter motors "bound" and a gentle tap with a hammer got it loose.  At a Summit Point track event in '96, a guy came by and said his Mondial 3.4 wouldn't start over by the gas pumps.  So I took a long socket extension and a light hammer over there, gentle tap tap tap on the starter, and it fired right up.  I think it was heat related (for both the Mondial and the 348CH cars, though that wouldn't be the problem of a TR that's sat for 3 months....).  FWIW.
