Electromotive Tec GT system, and am rebuilding the fuel system on the car, changing everything over to a larger throttle body with electronic fuel injection. After all is done we estimate to increase HP by 25% It does away with the garbage mechanical fuel injection system also going to direct fire ignition. Much more reliable and cheaper to maintain overall. Wade----- Original Message ----- From: <philville [at] dejazzd.com>

I find it difficult to disagree with Bob....I think that most of us will never be more than a one Ferrari family....I think a 328 is a safe cautious bet.....but how do we make it perform like it looks......has any one gone the turbo route.....and does that have to be over the top expensive? If you used a moderate boost I can not believe that you would be over stressing....historically I think that to get an extra 50 hp any other way would cost more than the car warrants.....and will be even more costly when it breaks. I am waiting for flack and feed back.....or, for ROL to tell us he just did that on his kitchen table with a blow dryer...and the dyno shows 30% increase....and all it cost him was $82.00 and 6 hours of his weekend. Records fairly complete and regularly maintained at FOW and Competzione (In G'burg MD) for the 5 years I've owned the car. Never a problem. I've been contemplating a 360 Spider lately as they're commodity priced. In the end, I keep coming back to my 328 as THE Ferrari. To me it's iconic. I will only own one Ferrari at a time thank you, and I think this will be it for me. What do we got here. It's rugged low tech all Ferrari. You can drive the snot out of it and not worry about cost of maintenance or repair. Parts will always be available. No depreciation to speak of. It's a gorgeous car that shouts "I"m a red flaming Ferrari" and it will always have the Ferrari in your face presence. Majors are not a big deal. I really don't care if the car appreciates or dumps. I'll let my heirs worry about it. In the meantime, I can take it out on a sunny Saturday afternoon and drive the West Virginia twisties all day long, park it wet, and not have to worry about it.
