I tend to agree, but Alabama land values don't approach MA land values - when they do, you'd care a great deal about what your neighbor chooses to 'plant' in their front yard, especially if the Home Appraisers claim that it affects the value of YOUR property.  Hence, the current situation in many neighborhoods across the country.
