Interesting. In my old neighborhood, having a garage full of exotics meant to 
the HOA that there was no end to the number of $25 fines you must be able to 
pay for such hateful crimes as exposing a garbage can or having a mailbox that 
was slightly the wrong shade of green.

Hence our recent move...

We still care, but there is more of a live and let live view here.
House prices in my neighborhood are in the 180/sqft range, so we're not what 
everything thinks we are. But having talked to my HOA, if you have a garage 
full of Ferraris, you either are a flesh eating lawyer or know one and are left 
alone.
