You sound like you might not approve of a toilet planter? They're all the rage in Miss., Ala and Ga. That and the large tractor tires filled with flowers. ;-)

I tend to agree, but Alabama land values don't approach MA land values - when they do, you'd care a great deal about what your neighbor chooses to 'plant' in their front yard, especially if the Home Appraisers claim that it affects the value of YOUR property. Hence, the current situation in many neighborhoods across the country.

Stuff like this will never happen in fly over country, one of the
advantages of being an Alabama redneck.

They are definitely over-reaching.

We've filed the appeal with the court in Boston.

The appeal process could take a year or more.

We do not live in a gated community, these are private homes in a heavily
wooded area.

We are in Stockbridge, MA.

Other developments are we're getting some help from Hagerty and the HVA
(_www.historicvehicle.org_ (http://www.historicvehicle.org/) ). They are
also
doing a story for their newsletter about this.

There is also an editorial appearing in vintage Motorsport
(_www.vintagemotorsport.com_ (http://www.vintagemotorsport.com/) )

Any new news regarding your neighbors? What state are you in, do you live
in a gated community?

Hope everything resolves itself.
