No kidding Larry!

Watching that is horrible.  I had to explain what happened to my son (7) about what happened this morning because he saw the replay of the CNN newscast.  I don't think he comprehends what happened or the pure evil of the people who carried it out, and I am thankful he still doesn't, and hopeful he will never see its like in his lifetime. 

I spent the day watching an air show and then playing Call of Duty 4.  Shooting virtual terrorists in the middle east, very therapeutic.

I couldn’t agree more  -  and I *still* cannot stand to watch the airplane hitting tower 2.  I have to turn away.  The various TV programmers seem to feel we want to *see* thousands of people being killed over and over and over.  Its hard to even think about.   Many of those people died quickly, but a great many also suffered greatly.

 

I just can't understand how people can follow a religion that demands they do such things.

 

But we don't want to discuss such stuff here --

I believe he's reposting his actual 9/11/01 message as it was happening...

Can't believe we're only a year away from the 10th anniversary....man how time flies.

BTW, I remember someone on here was requesting a roll call of all NYers and so I said that I was ok along with my dad who happened to work down there. Still to this day, we're both on some 9/11 survivor registry because someone on here put that up there...haha.
