Hi collective wisdom of all, When my 328 motor has not been run for (say) a week or more,
it needs to be cranked and cranked and cranked for ages before it will even
begin to splutter. I crank it for about 10 seconds - nothing; I crack it again
for about 10 second - again, nothing; I crank it again and maybe this time I
get a slight cough; I crank it again and this time maybe I am lucky and it will
splutter into reluctant life and after about 30 seconds it settles right down
and is running like a bird and I have no more problems. If I then try to start
the car within (say) the next few days, it jumps straight into happy life with enthusiasm.
But if I leave it for over a week or so, we are back to square one! Anybody
had such issues and what should I look for? Cheers, Grahame |
