Hey Ed - Just had a chance on Thursday to discuss that very feature with TJ Zizzo, young fellow driving an honest to God Top Fueler.  He said the big mash doesn't come on a Top Fueler until the clutch hooks up 1 to 1 about 2/3 ds down the track - then it 8,000 hp trying to dig its way back up to speed.

 

As he said - Hey, its only 4 seconds, what can go wrong?
