The radiator cleaner is caustic and will eat built up gunk, but also
just a bit of the metal.
Can't remember off the top of my head - is the Ferrari radiator
aluminum? I don't think you can dip those.
We used to have a bunch of radiator shops here in our small
town. They are all gone now, as modern radiators are somewhere
between difficult and impossible to fix. The repair shop that I
used to own quit sending out radiators for cleaning and simply
replaced them. I realize that this is not really what you (we/us)
would want for our Ferraris, so you will need to find a qualified
shop handling older cars.

1981 308 GTSiI carried my radiator to a shop here in Montreal. The guy just didn't want to put it in that special liquid they use. I mentioned at least twice that it was a 30 year-old radiator. He said my radiator was in good shape and putting it in a liquid would only "weaken" it. He added the liquid helps if the radiator is very dirty and so on. But if the radiator is in good shape, the liquid will actually "weaken" the system.Has any body ever heard that before ? Is it possible ?Can't wait for spring to come along to test my "new" radiator without the condenser in front.Michael Savard
