I carried my radiator to a shop here in Montreal.
The guy just didn't want to put it in that special liquid they use. I mentioned
at least twice that it was a 30 year-old radiator. He said my radiator was in
good shape and putting it in a liquid would only "weaken" it. He added the
liquid helps if the radiator is very dirty and so on. But if the radiator is in
good shape, the liquid will actually "weaken" the system.
Has any body ever heard that before ? Is it
possible ?
Can't wait for spring to come along to test my
"new" radiator without the condenser in front.
