If you own a TR or s 512 you will eventually have to put in the starter relay remote like I did

The ignition wire is so long and you lose so much voltage that you have to do it

It’s a simple fix and I have the wiring diagram for those who need it.

But that just half the problem over the years you will have to get your starter rebuilt as well

Hopefully you have already replaced the big black stock unit with the upgraded Nipendeso unit which is lighter works better

I had to have mine rebuilt since I was have starting issues it lasted 8 years !

Anyway the car starts now like firing a Gatling gun!
