Couple thoughts now that the information has already passed.1) I find it easy while standing at the left front fender, to pull the negative battery ground connector with the headlight on and up.
2) The headlight relay upgrade, whether Stern or diy, gives so much extra light there is no need to increase bulb wattage.
3) The headlight relay upgrade removes all high current from the headlight switches and for that reason alone is worth doing.
4) The Stern kit provides one $5 relay to power both sides whereas separate relays and fuses provides an extra measure of reliability should one fuse blow while on thr road at night.
