For Classiche - probably not. It is as much a "system" for determining the purity of the cars as it is for getting work for the dealers and official restorers. At least in my opinion. Personally, I have no problem with safety and performance upgrades, but think that the look of originality is important. Once hid an MSD ignition inside the distributor casing on a Miura. From the outside, it looked stock, but was a modern, high-power electronic ignition. Never lost a point to any judges, and started first turn of the key. I read about how a '60s vette is considered more "pure" with overspray than without, and I hate that logic. :) FG _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or modify your subscription options, please visit: http://lists.ferrarilist.com/mailman/options/ferrari/ferrarisimo%40comcast.net Sponsored by BooyahMedia.com and F1 Headlines http://www.F1Headlines.com/ |
