As I recall, when I had my 85 308qv on the dyno testing the effectiveness of the K&N air filter(not very effective….), the stock car setup was running rear wheel 190hp…..

I've always been curious about the power figures for the Qv engine in USA specification.  I'm assuming the 230 HP FNA quoted is SAE not DIN?   Seems hard to believe the engine can drop just 10 HP after the addition of cats, retarded timing plus lower compression.  Any dyno figures to confirm?  I recall the Fast Lane test of the Qv back in the early 80's, they managed 0-60 in 5.8, or so they claimed.  Pretty funny comparison in any case.
