George Photoshop was a Mac only app when it was first introduced and I suspect Mac sales still outstrip Win as most creatives work on Macs. Aperture is not a direct equivalent to Photoshop, the Adobe equivalent being Lightroom. But I can also recommend Pixelmator as a low cost alternative to Photoshop, it does most of what the average non pro user would need and only costs 30 bucks. Incidentally I can recommend the OpenOffice as a free alternative to MS Office. Files are compatible Francis On 25 Jan 2012, at 16:55, George P. wrote: > I, too, just got a 27" iMac. I love it.
