Dennis,

I don't recall ever seriously disagreeing with you about anything before -- and I'm not about to start with respect to this.  (My initial resistance to your suggestions years ago that I sign up for DE doesn't count -- as you know, I soon saw the light, and have been driving regularly at track events every year.  (Watkins Glen in about a month -- yee-haw!))

As it happens, I put this exact floor jack in my Harbor Freight "shopping cart" 3 days ago -- using a $30 off coupon code I had found using Google.  Also added a pair of their steel jack stands.  I agree that they should be sufficient to satisfy my modest needs (though more than "twice a year" -- in addition to swapping my street tires and snow tires (purchased used, with rims, a few years ago from Brian) on the 993 twice a year, I will need to swap street tires and racing slicks at every track event.)I've been waiting until tomorrow to "checkout"/pay for the items, so it hits a new month's credit card billing cycle, even though the cost isn't all that significant.

I was similarly "frugal" even before I ever met you.

Thanks,
Larry
