Rick,

Thanks for keeping us all posted on your exploits.

On 19 June, we'll be taking our 1939 Rolls-Royce Phantom-III to Louisville for the RROC annual meet. Last year we drove it from Virginia to Lake Tahoe and back (http://rollsacrossamerica.blogspot.com/), and on the last day driving home we passed Louisville. This year will be much lower key. :-)

The 308 is clean in the garage, ready to go, but I just haven't had the opportunity to drive it lately. Seems I'm always carrying more than one person with me.

The Turbo R is at a body shop since a branch fell on the hood (err....bonnet).

ETC.

Hey Gang,

A few moments ago, I drove the 308GTB back from the shop, fitted with its new shoes! To tell you how badly it needed tires, the ones we took off were Yokohama A509s! Those went out of production over a decade ago - and they were as hard as bowling balls!

The new Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports feel great! The fronts are 205/55R16, the rear 225/50R16, mounted on non-ABS 328 16" wheels. Pressures set at 33psi (2.24bar) front, 35psi (2.38bar) rear as per the Owner's Manual specifications for the 328. I thought about using the 308 manual's recommendations, as used for the 14" wheels, but decided to use the specs for the 328.

The goal for this evening and tomorrow is to polish the paint, clean the wheels and detail the interior. The timing is perfect seeing as how I just finished the E-Type detail. Next round will be the Rolls-Royce, putting all collector cars ready for Rui's visit. :-o

It looks like my friend Neil will have his Mondial T back by next weekend too, so right after Rui arrives here in Houston, a bunch of Houston Ferrari owners will hit the weekly Saturday car show together on the 23rd.
