Because no one died. Of course itâs awful, but if the point was âdeath by gunsâ, then it doesnât fit.

WHY is China not worthy of inclusion?  ANY time kids are attacked its a awful regardless of the means... Unless you're just a gun hater.

People have pointed out the lack of gun related crime and killings in other countries which have a high percentage of gun ownership. The real question is why? Whatâs the difference? itâs a fascinating topic.

Barry has it right â that genie is out of the bottle. You can print guns now. As for pyschos on the loose, we can thank the trial attorneys who closed state mental institutions after the discovery of phenothiazines. For evidence look no further than the schizophrenic on the corner with the "Need Help - God Bless" cardboard sign. He is making $300 a day tax-free since he abandoned his outpatient clinic and stopped taking his meds. The PCMedia labels these guys "The Homeless". Most ironic by far is the incessant hand-wringing coming from the bleating liberals of Hollywood. Protected themselves by armed bodyguards, they continue to grind out ever more violent and depraved crap. Just what little not-so-well adjusted Johnnie needs as his sits down there in Mom's basement all night long jerking off and watching TV.

We have had guns for 250 years. This crap has always gone on, from the days of broadswords and axes right up to the present, but the frequency has escalated recently because of what? Because guns suddenly got meaner and more nasty? That must be the answer.

There were four mass killing attempts last week. Only one made the news because it helped the agreed upon media narrative.

  1. Oregon. NOT a gun free zone. Shooter confronted by permit holder. Shooter commits suicide. Only a few casualties.
  2. Texas. NOT a gun free zone. Shooter killed immediately by off duty cop. Only a few casualties.
  3. Connecticut. GUN FREE ZONE. Shooters kills until the police arrive. Suicide. 26 dead.
  4. China. GUN FREE COUNTRY. A guy with a KNIFE stabs 22 children.

The sickest thing is not the shooter, or his mother, it is the callous and depraved use of this sad event by the wretched political class to further their own agenda.

Merry Christmas to All. Except those in the previous paragraph.

Clyde asked do we need assault rifles? I ask, do we need 100 plus mph cars? In the hands of a responsible person, it isn't a problem. Either in the hands of a madman are dangerous. As for the Neanderthal redneck comment, oh well. We will just agree to disagree. The problem with guns is pandoras box is open. No different then drugs. They are illegal, but can be found everywhere. Guns are illegal in Mexico, we know how that's working out. Are we saying you should be able to own any weapon you choose. No. Society as a mass will make that decision. I see no need for a thirty round clip. But a semiautomatic rifle is a semiautomatic rifle no matter if it is brown or black with a military look. Shoots just the same. I think the problem is deeper then guns. All, are darn near all of the crazed shooters of late were mentally ill and on anti depression medication. I'm not saying the meds are to blame either. I'm just saying the problem is more complicated then a black gun. I will say t
his though, if his mom knew he was mentally ill, the guns should be locked away. Whew, my 2cents from a list lurker. Barry
