The age old debate :

DD QV power or 400/400S purity.

The low body series 1 400S is the most violent looking car out of S'antagata. It's ridiculous how much lower looking it is than a standard CT.

A toughie. :)

Injection on 5000 and later models only for non-Euro spec models.

Downdraft is six 2 barrel Webers on the Euro spec QV model only.

Non-Euro QV is fuel injection.

DD is much, much faster and can't be compared to any other Countach in terms of power.

A well setup early LP400 is a quick car, but the DD is a monster.

Every carbed Countach starting with the 5000S had an injected sibling. From memory I think even the 400S might have had an injected version (hope not).

I thought all the Lambo's were tractor engines with carbs, no?

Is the 25th Anniversary Countach still considered a 'downdraft' car, when it has no carbs on the engine?

Looks to be pretty accurate...512TR and downdraft Countach even in acceleration then the TR pulling away at higher speed due to aero.

A wingless Countach probably would've been even closer.

Yeah but they (wings) were great for the buffet spread at a concours....

But your point was brought up in the R&T issue that did this test with the BB and the Countach.   The wing killed the top end.  The BB ate it up on speed runs.
