I concur with your ideas on Zion and Bryce. Try to spend a little time there and pick at least one hike per place. If you're really up to it, hike one of the canyon/river things from the middle of Zion out (there are companies that guide these and will drive you back). At Bryce hike down into the canyon. I've never done either of these (just done some look downs from the scenic points when we took the Rolls cross country in 2011 and didn't have enough time), but they are on my bucket list.

The drive on route 12 (I think that is it) along the route from Zion to Bryce to Capitol Reef to Arches is absolutely spectacular and unforgettable.

The Atom Bomb Testing Museum out on Flamingo.  Then go out to the 1950’s bomb test sites.  You’ll glow for a few days but you’ll also save money on electricity and people will buy you drinks at any bar you go to.   http://www.atomictestingmuseum.org/pid12museum.html

Where would you guys go if you're already out in Las Vegas?

I will have a 3 days free and want to hit some National Parks or other areas for hiking/offroading/fishing.

I'm thinking Zion, Bryce, Sedona or ???

Thanks,
LS
