not only do they speed when chasing a speeder but around here they speed 

all the time it seems.   IIRC, they must obey traffic laws unless they 

have their blue lights on.

But they seldom do.   I guess we could report them and live with the 

risk they might be extra vigilant for us so they can get even?

At what point does a cop on the beat observe the law, or even comprehend
the very basic tenets of law enforcement?
