I use hose water with no issues and 100k on the car and I live in Georgia where it's Africa hot 9 months out the year with no problems
I do the system every 2 years

I'm a fan of most Amsoil products I've used, but I've never used their coolant. Anyone with experience?
 
Also, it hasn't been mentioned here, but in your aluminum block/heads ensure you're using distilled water, not water from the sink/hose.

Ah, yes. That I did know. But I'm probably going to end up buying the pre-diluted stuff from O'Reilly (which is diluted with distilled H2O), so I don't need an extra trip to the grocery store for distilled water! :)
