I'd consider using Mercedes Benz coolant. I was told that the car will run a little cooler with the MB coolant and in my experience I concur.

 

Also, it hasn't been mentioned here, but in your aluminum block/heads ensure you're using distilled water, not water from the sink/hose.

System is good to go when fans come on

Yep - that's how I remember that part. :)

Also... will I need 2 gallons BEFORE dilution (so four gallons of diluted)? Or two gallons diluted liquid to fill with?
