Rebuilds and Hallett

First Hallett gathering was in 1997, the year I got my 308GTB (in January). Ric Rainbolt bought it from me and I bought it back a year or two later when he bought Jon's 348tb. I still own it.

In between I bought Matt's Mondial QV, broke it, Tony Nevotti fixed it, sold it to Dave Craig, I bought it back from Dave then later, sold it to Ed Helsing. Ed is currently restoring the interior to 'as new'. He lives about 20 minutes from me.

Not long ago I bought the Testarossa from Ric Rainbolt. It was in pieces. Its the car that Ric bought, then Deep bought, then Ric bought back and then I bought. I put it back together and still own it.

Variety. I burn out pretty easily and as some of you know, I'm not a hard-core Ferrari guy. Rather, I just love machines and presently own 9 cars: Toyota and Cayman dailys, Testarossa, 308GTB, E-Type, Volvo 1800ES, Silver Shadow, TR3b and an MG TD. I rotate through them, doing what is needed then moving on to the next one. And when that fails I tinker with my ham radio or play with my grandson! Don't know how I ever had time to work!
