Had the American version: StalkerV6. Originally they had
a V6 from a Camaro (about 200hp), then the supercharged
Buick V6 (up to 300hp), but now they are fitted with an
LS series V8 (300 to 500hp). They are about 200lbs heavier
than a Caterham, but the extra power makes up for it. And
I didn't notice the weight difference in comparison to the
Caterham that I drove.

Being over 6ft, I liked the Birkin better. Caterham now offers a larger version. The best way I could describe it is a motorcycle on 4 wheels. Incredibly fun. Would love to have one as a toy. However, by the time you start looking at the price, the Elise starts looking good, too. Elise is a little more practical and easier (somewhat) to get into with the top up. I would love to do a side-by-side test.

Been daydreaming of this car for awhile now......and that probably has a lot do with the fact that you never hear owner reports/driving impressions, as much as how nice the car is on its own.
Anybody have any real driving time in a 7? The formula of 1000-1200 lbs with good chassis and suspension, no power steering just seems too good to be true for a road car.
I guess the downside is that it makes even an Elise seem like a regular car, lol.
Nobody I know seems to have one. And the question is why? :)
My best guess is they might cost too much....
