Britt,

They have a dealer network in the US for Caterhams, which is nice.

As for the main issue everybody seems to be having -- being too tall to drive one.....

Let me say that if there was ever a reason in life for a man to rejoice at being 5'6, this would be it.....

The F1/MotoGP racer thing is sorta out of the question, but enjoying 308s, Countachs, Caterhams, and leaning sport bikes should be a non issue. :)

I have driven one on the. Road and at Silverstone. Basically a go cart. Like an AC Cobra incredibly uncomfortable with wind pressure and noise over 40 mph. Not even remotely a long distance car unless you wear a helmet. An Elise is far more civilised. Used Caterhams are pretty cheap and readily available here. Could you import a used one to the USA even if in parts to avoid the rules? Look on pistonheads and eBay.co.uk ...

Short term track car and wonderful for point and shoot events. A Sunday drive gets pretty tiring but then my 6foot so if you are short maybe you fit better but the lack of a proper screen and side windows really will wear you down if the sun burn and wind burn doesn't !
