Before I had the gauge inside the tank changed (2013), my dashboard fuel 
gauge would go up at FULL everytime I filled it up. But after maybe less 
than 75 miles it would go down to zero very quickly. Since that part above 
the left tank is all new, I doubt the problem is there. Come to think of it, 
I didn't even bother to check the connections that are easily visible above 
the tank. I'll do that next time. In the meantime, my tank is full and I'll 
be driving  a lot next weekend just to see what the dashboard fuel gauge 
does.
