Its being done by the idiots we elect... this one was waaaayyyy under the radar. Most folks have never heard of it.
First they want "green cars"... when they get them, the gas revenues go down so they want the money we save, back.

Excellent suggestion Rick - the cars already HAVE a button for that - it's
called PIT LANE. Of course the person risks creating a Jim Hall career
ending wreck when he hit the rear of Lothar Motschenbacher's Lola at the
exit of turn one at the last Stardust GP CanAm. Nov 1968. I looked for a
picture of Hall flying upside down but couldn't find one. His car landed
upside down and broke in half. Broke both of Hall's legs just below the
knee I believe.
