I like the 550 but a bit boring and looks are a B+.
Maintenance/repairs will likely be much higher too.

Aston Martin is the Peugeot of British cars or maybe the Citroen of British cars The small stuff will bite you There is a saying about these cars
Just because it looks to you Doesn't mean it will be good for you!
Check the price of water pumps, window regulators, turn signal lenses you get the idea because they didn't make many of these dreadnoughts for a reason
Like I always say It's your money Better value in a Ferrari 550 6 speed manual A 575 6 speed if you can find one ( very rare) Buy it for $50k throw a service on it, buy the silicon hose kit, do the coolant yearly along with the brake clutch fluid Put away some money for a spare clutch and throw out bearing and brake pads Drive the paint off it In victory you deserve Champagne In defeat you need it!

I can fit into just about anything and rarely have run into that problem.
Clyde, I haven't heard of anything big or expensive as needing replacement. The engine was properly engineered so it has timing chains. The coils sometimes go bad, but they are $59/each Jag parts.
Most of the parts cross to other marques and are pretty cheap.
The driveline is robust too. There are some carbon fiber interior bits that oxidize and need replacement.
And, as with our beloved Ferrari, we know that interior quality rarely predicts the quality of the rest of the car.
The V12 sound is amazing and the brakes are supposed to be pretty impressive. Euro style, 186mph and what seems like straightforward maintenance sounds intriguing.
Maybe a Vanquish S also? I know CG can chime in with his overall experiences there.

Anyone own a DB7 Vantage?
They look pretty nice and potentially easy to maintain.
I'd like to hear some thoughts or insight.
Thanks, LS
