Is that Ric's and Lashdeep's old car? As I recall the starter is very accessible. I've hot the solenoid on that car with a hammer s couple times in Dallas traffic.

Have you considered pulling the starter and having your unit rebuilt? With
your skillset, perhaps you could DIY.
