I paid for the Air, rental car, hotel, Porsche Parts went to European GP. Just one example water pump for the 928 was $1k in the USA, $90 at Stuttgart. Of course my wife won ticket to Frankfort fro $99 I had to pay $795, so I started off with a discount.

Of course I have read your opinions of Rome and guess that applies to your feeling of travel. Familiarity breeds contempt. When you take a trip every two years they are something you look forward to.

My wife and I had not flown since 96 until 2010 and traveling with my portable oxygen and the 911 rules made it not a pleasant experience. Paper work almost got me thrown off the plane leaving Milan, and picking up my luggage

and going through customs only having to check it again to continue our flight plus the taking off the belt and shoes again, we decide to not fly again until our 50th anniv in 2017 a Hawaii Five O event.

I do understand.

I did that in 1984 and picked up parts and shop manuals for my 79 928 Porsche and the savings paid for my trip to Germany.  I have to say Porsche Shop manuals put Ferrari shop manuals to shame.

Of course the dollar got 3 marks back then.

When you remove the rear calipers on the TR there are 2 small shims that are on the top and bottom that are a bitch to put back in a total of 4 bitch shims that is prison work

And I do mean BITCH

Other than that it was a dream

The new engine is tight like a new girlfriend much compression
I would post to the Ferrari chat guys but they seem LAME

I need some input from our guys before I cross over there and get thrown off
