Rest in peace Ferrari Bubba.
It was a real pleasure meeting him in person, way
back in 2000 at the F1 Indy race where we had a FListers gathering.

Bubba [Richard William (Bill) Hilser] was a hell of a roommate. Thru
him I met many many racing people. His 356 was the first Porsche I
ever drove.

In
case you haven't hear, our buddy Ferrari Bubba passed away 12/8 after a long
struggle with health problems. His wife, Cheryl, posted this message on
Facebook:
Well, Heaven got a very special angel today. My
husband, Bill Ferrari
Bubba got his wings just before 9 AM. I was home with him. He couldn't
swallow his morning medications and I held his hand, asking God to make him
comfortable. I told him how much I loved him, and I felt heavenly arms
lifting his spirit. It was so calm and peaceful. I know a lot of you loved
him and appreciated his unique sense of humor. He will be missed. He was the
love of my life for the past 30 years. Time flies when you're having fun,
and everyday with Bill was fun. Please make the most of each and every day
with your spouse. You just can't tell when it will be the last day.
