This good solution to a common problem almost makes me want to go out and buy a Testarossa.

Almost.

Guys it will still give you problems

You have to install a remote relay inorder for the problem to go away

Clyde's right if you use the same old Bosch part that is subject to the heat sink issue. The solenoid location is integrated with the TR starter, and sits RIGHT where it's gonna get max heat.

However, the difference when you have the WAI and Bosch units in your hands is staggering. The WAI is a far superior unit, and is designed to withstand the heat far better. I got mine for about $30, so for that price, it's worth it to me to have a spare on hand and just swap it out if I ever get the issue again. Which (since I have the spare at the ready), I probably won't. ;)

I didn't want an additional remote relay unit mounted in mine, so I went this route. It slides right into the existing cavity, and nobody can tell any difference from stock unless they're REALLY looking at the connectors.
