Well, lots going on tonight, on two car fronts.

Last weekend, I reinstalled a solid oil feed line on the old Jag which feeds
oil to the cylinder head via banjo bolts. A couple of the copper washers were
weeping a bit of oil, so they are replaced with a super thin coating of sealant
(just in case). Hoping that fixes that oil leak.

I got the repaired clock back today, so that's reinstalled and the dash is all
reassembled.

I managed to replace one burned out gauge bulb with a new LED bulb. Tried to
replace others, but some are just inaccessible without doing more disassembly
than I'm willing to do right now. (Another bulb socket was not deep enough for
the LED bulb, so I'll be contacting the bulb vendor about that...)

After getting the dash reassembled and everything tested (SAT), I started the
car up for the first time since before Christmas. Purring like a Kitten again!
 :-)

On the Spitfire front, I removed the distributor to manually run the oil pump
(sorry, can't remember the last time this car was started). Then I reinstalled
the distributor and cranked the engine to build oil pressure. It the weather
is good enough tomorrow (not raining), and I can back the Jag out, I'll
probably try to start the Spit. It's going to a local shop on Thursday to be a
"model" for a brake tech session on Saturday morning. This is the same shop
that really worked magic in tuning the Jag last spring, and I'm hoping he'll do
the same with the Spit while it's there.

So I really got a lot accomplished tonight, and am, as the song says, "Happy!"
